Southwings Pigeon River Flight

Clean Water for North Carolina ( http://www.cwfnc.org) arranged a flight provided by Southwings ( http://www.southwings.org) to view the Pigeon River above and below the Evergreen Packaging Canton Mill. Andrew Meranda for Southwings provided a a wonderful, smooth flight. The other passengers were Hope Taylor Executive Director of Clean Water for North Carolina and Susan Andrew reporter for the Mountain Xpress. The Pigeon River was at 143 cfs (cubic feet per second) at the time of these photos on 10/12/2010 around 3:00 pm.
